Previsualisation – Nick Knight’s Top Shop Advert

When pre-visualising a key task is to create a diagram with the layout and information on so to inform you and help you set-up the scene. For this I looked at a scene out of Nick Knight Topshop advert.

I then recreated a scene of how I thought it would be laid out.

From doing this it made it clear of how it isn’t the cost or equipment used but instead the ability and preparation that make amazing shots so strong and look more complicated than what they are. The key with this in fact is practice through simple things like looking at your favorite films in films, pictures or videos and deciding why I like them. This also makes an image more understood as the context and what features represent become clearer.
